Tatyana Igumnova Hankinson

Russian Artist Tatyana Igumnova Hankinson was born in 1968 in the former Soviet Union. Tatyana studied seven years and graduated from the Kubyshev Art School in Tashkent, Uzbekistan majoring in Drawing and Fine Art. She won some professional competitions, and had personal exhibits in the Soviet Union. Tatyana's favorite media are acrylics, oils, and pastels. Tatyana came to the United States in 2002 and began her career in Florida. Since then, she has sold several paintings to collectors in Virginia, Florida, Ohio, and England.

Tatyana is Vice President of the Tampa Realistic Artists for 2005 through 2009; and has received awards in exhibitions at the Old Hyde Park Art Center Gallery.  At the 2006 Strawberry Festival in Plant City, Florida she was awarded First Place in the Professional Oil and Acrylics Division.   Tatyana's oil painting "Holy Maria and Child" won Second Place in the North Tampa Arts League's "The Art of Love" show in February 2007.  One of her works was featured on a banner sponsored by the Westshore Alliance in Tampa.  She is signature member of Pastel Society of Tampa Bay and got the third place award at 2009 annual Pastel Art Show for her painting "Glenwood Canyon Sunflowers"  For information on future shows and receptions please see her schedule.
